What started as a simple experiment to create a tree turned into a full-fledged creative journey! 🌳✨
The trunk? An old grapevine. 🍇 The branches? Sea foam. 🌿 The flowers? Weeds, each carefully painted with three different colors and attached by hand using white glue. I worked in stages, letting each cluster dry before moving on to the next.
To complete the scene, I designed a custom base with a backdrop inspired by Don Corleone. I printed a smaller version in PLA, which fit perfectly with the tree. But the base still felt incomplete... so I added one of my resin-printed dragons (available for purchase!) and painted it to match the tree’s color scheme. 🐉
The nest is made from XPS foam and weeds, tying everything together into this whimsical creation.✨
This project is a peek into my creative process—where a vision often evolves along the way. Unexpected challenges with materials or techniques are part of the journey, sparking new ideas and solutions.
