Who am I? 

Hi there, and welcome to Mortiza Hobby & Craft!

I’m Christel Björck from southern Sweden — a passionate creator of scale models, miniatures, dioramas, figurines, props, 3D prints, and paintings. I mostly work within sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, but I enjoy exploring other genres too.

My creative journey began with painting, later balanced by a career in engineering and IT. But the need for artistic expression led me to art school in 1999 — and in late 2019, I discovered the world of scale modeling. It was a perfect match! Since then, I’ve expanded into 3D design, printing, CAD, and even cosplay, blending techniques across formats and materials.

I also love to compete, and have since participated in several model competitions with award-winning results. (A dedicated page with highlights is coming soon!)

In 2023, I exhibited at Vårsalong in Helsingborg and began taking commissions. In 2024, I took a big step forward — turning passion into business by launching Modellixen AB, along with the webshop modellixen.se, offering kits, tools, and supplies for fellow modelers and creators.
