A 1/35 ww2 scale diorama. Based on two Tamiya kits of two British paratroopers with bikes and two German soldiers with bikes. Made for a competition held by @ministryofminipainting, where the theme was Moment of Hope.

The house is scratch built. Door and window designed, and 3D printed. Birds, books, cat, and railing are also 3D printed. Acrylic painting and base is an old frame. All figurines and bikes have been altered a lot to fit the story, as changing head, add of a moustache, poses, etc.

Honestly, this was not my normal project and probably won't be either. The detailed quality of the figurines where so-so = not so fun to paint - just a hurdle to go through as I needed to add a lot of shadows to make up the lack of details. But if I get hold of better qualities of figurines, then I don't mind doing more of - What Ifs dioramas/ vignettes.
